Keith’s career in art began like most artists. As long as he can remember he has enjoyed drawing. His fascination about how things were made led him to the profession as an Industrial Designer. Born and raised in Southern California, Keith received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design from the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California in 1985. This experience at Art Center exposed Keith to many disciplines of Art and challenged him with the desire to continually expand his abilities where possible.
Keith has over 24 years of product development background with experience in both corporate and consulting companies, and as the Principal, Design Director of elevation www.elevationid.com since 1997, he oversees all design development providing the vision and leadership for clients from Fortune 500 companies to small start-ups. Clients have included: Polaris, Fisher-Price, Estee´ Lauder, The Coleman Company, Bausch & Lomb, Fishpond, Laser Technology, Agile Brands, Magnavox, American Recreation Products, Eddie Bauer; Harman Kardon/JBL, Evenflo, BestMed, ADCO, Outer Circle Products, Mattel, Swiss Gear and Anthro Technology....to name a few.
Keith has received numerous design awards and has been awarded over 30 patents for his work in various consumer product industries. His work has been exhibited in the Louvre Museum in Paris, France; the Smithsonian Institute; and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Over the years Keith has continued to explore his love for drawing along with photography to create highly detailed pen & ink drawings that are created using the stippling technique. Stippling, also known as Pointillism, means that dots of ink are applied one dot at a time to create these drawings. Keith also uses a scribbling process on many of his drawings. All drawings are offered in Signed Limited Edition and Signed Open Edition prints.
Keith currently resides in Loveland, Colorado with his wife and four children. Having Colorado as a playground, Keith and his family are avid campers and outdoor enthusiasts.
